My prints are made with the highest quality archival inks and papers available, and I work very hard with my art printer to make sure the prints are as identical to the originals as possible. I start by using a professional photographer who specializes in photographing original works of art and is able to capture the subtle nuances of watercolor paintings. Digital images are adjusted side by side with originals to match the colors, values, contrast and saturation of the originals. Once the images are optimized for printing, I send the images to my printer who provides color proofs that I compare with the original paintings. After I sign off on the print, he runs the edition. Most of my prints are signed and numbered limited editions, meaning that a limited number of those prints will be produced. A few of my prints are signed open editions, which means I sign them after they are printed but an unlimited number may be produced. Limited edition prints usually have a higher value (and price) than open edition prints because they are more rare.
